Set within the listed ‘Haus zum Goldene Sterne’, a famed nightclub of the Art Deco era, this project marks a pivotal evolution of the Eat Grill & Bar brand, transforming a local concept into a refined, experience-led destination.

Working in close partnership with an ambitious restaurateur, we developed a cohesive architectural and interior narrative that draws on the energy and sophistication of London and New York, while remaining grounded in its German context. Across two floors, the design carefully balances heritage and contemporary expression, introducing bespoke joinery, lighting, and crafted interventions that enhance both atmosphere and identity.

At its heart, a sculptural pizza bar anchors the double-height space, wrapped by a feature staircase and finished in a rich bronze tone, creating a focal point that is both theatrical and functional. Operationally, the scheme supports the client’s growth through intelligent planning, maximising front-of-house capacity while integrating a highly adaptable, compact kitchen system.

The result is a dynamic, future-ready environment that strengthens the brand, enhances customer experience, and supports long-term commercial success.

  • “An unforgettable journey through culinary experience and design innovation.”

Finkernagel Ross is proud to have collaborated with our client to bring the Eat Grill & Bar refurbishment project to fruition. The transformed space transcends traditional dining, offering patrons an unforgettable journey through culinary experience and design innovation. A dining experience that takes you from the modern day and transports you back in time to the richness and glamour of the 1920s.
