Originally from Germany, Felix Finkernagel gained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1996 from the University of Texas where he also met Catherine Ross. He then relocated to New York to attend Columbia University where he completed his Master of Architecture in 1998. Moving back to Germany, Felix worked for ‘Stahlwerk Augustfehn’ helping to develop a master-plan for the modernization and expansion of a company that had been founded in 1872.

They are still a client of the practice today. From Germany, Felix headed to London and worked within the retail team as Project Architect for ‘Gensler’, and then to ‘Squire and Partners’ as Project Architect on the HSBC Private Investment Headquarters in St James’s Street. Felix became a RIBA and ARB registered architect in 2001, and is a registered architect in Germany. He is the founding partner of the practice and married to Catherine Ross. They have three children.
